A non-profit environmental organization “Washed Ashore” managed a quite unusual and interesting exhibition of sculptures. This project was dedicated to ecological and environmental problems of coastal zones and beaches pollution. Washed Ashore Project also dealt with plastic pollution problems.

Washed Ashore reported that every year sea and oceanic coasts are polluted with thousands of cigarettes, plastic bottles, wrappings and other wastes. So, this organization found the way to use all this garbage and to raise awareness of the environmental pollution issue. Washed Ashore Project represented impressive sculptures of marine animals of gigantic sizes that were created with garbage collected by volunteers on coasts. There were about 40 sculptures made from 12 tons of garbage. By the way, they show animals that have suffered by the pollution the most.
It is worth noting that this ecological event organized by Washed Ashore Project has attracted a great attention of publicity. A lot of people have changed their mind about this issue and now know that the pollution problem really exists.

Each sculpture made from oceanic trash is unbelievable beautiful. The Washed Ashore Project event has really raised awareness of publicity. It has showed people how harmful human activity is. We do not value what we have and continue polluting the environment. Washed Ashore organization and their massive sculptures tried to persuade people finally stop from polluting and exaggerated consumption of natural resources.
